2020 wasn’t the year any of expected but we are thrilled to finally say that we are OPEN! We have been busy getting our clinics ready and up to a new standard of safety as we continue to make the health and safety of our patients and employees our top priority.

Our Labs

We are pleased to announce we are opening our facilities for Diagnostic Services - Overnight Sleep Studies:

  • The  Waterloo location reopened for Diagnostic services effective July 13, 2020

  • The Paris Location reopened for Diagnostic services effective July 20, 2020

  • The Owen Sound Location reopened for Diagnostic services effective August 4, 2020

If you are currently awaiting a sleep study in our facilities, please contact our office to book. Our clinic administration will be in contact with you in the coming weeks to schedule the required appointment(s). Please note that we are working to accommodate all referrals, however, as a result of the current wait lists, priority will be given to urgent cases.

We are pleased to continue to offer physician consultation and follow up appointments via Telemedicine. Our daytime office is open Monday to Friday to accept calls between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. For clinic related Telemedicine consultation or follow up appointments, please call during our phone hours to speak with a member of our clinic administration. Voicemails will be returned as quickly as possible.

COVID-19

Our staff have participated in additional COVID-19 training to ensure a smooth transition to our new safety processes. We have reorganized our patient flow within the facilities to allow for safe physical distancing protocols. Each patient will have a private room for the duration of their stay. Our waiting room is closed.

Additional safety measures include:

  • Additional Employee Screening

All employees will be required to pass our COVID-19 screening assessment prior to entering the facility. Employee’s body temperature will also be taken upon arrival.

  • Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Technicians

All technicians will wear full PPE which include a mask, face shield, isolation gown and gloves.

  • Additional Patient Screening

All patients will be required to pass our active COVID-19 screening assessment at time of booking and prior to entering the facility. Patient’s body temperature will also be taken upon arrival. Passive screening tools are posted throughout the facilities.

  • Face Covering for Patients

All patients and essential visitors are required to wear a face covering while at the facility.

  • Signage and Hand Sanitizer

Signage has been posted throughout the facilities to instruct patients on our physical distancing requirements and COVID-19 protocols. Hand sanitizer is available to each entrance and throughout the facilities. Everyone is to sanitize their hands upon entering the facility and throughout their visit.

  • Enhanced Cleaning

As regulated health care facilities, AccqSleepLabs is committed to enhance cleaning measures to keep you and your family sage, while continuing to adhere to current Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Guidelines.

  • Only Essential Visitors Permitted

Our facilities will no longer allow non-essential visitors.

What’s New? Secure On-Line Portal for Patient Registration & Post-Sleep Questionnaires

Via the AccqSleepLabs website, we have enabled a secure portal for patients to complete their registration and post-sleep questionnaires eliminating the need for these to be done on-site in paper format. You can find everything you need under patient resources on our website.

The entire AccqSleepLabs Team thanks you for your ongoing support and understanding during these challenging times. We look forward to continuing to support your sleep health.

If you are looking to book a sleep study you can download a referral form here to bring to your family physician.
